Yes I knew they were Swiss, but as being taught by the red arrows I was joking :-). The thing with most aerobatic teams though, is that the display has to be tailored to the weather conditions on the day, for obvious reasons. I've seen the Red Arrows maybe.....15 or 20 times now, and sometimes they are awesome, and other times not. But the times when it was not so good was always because the cloud cover was too low for them to do their rehearsed display. But either way and whichever team, I take my hat off to anyone who wants to get in a plane and do stuff like that!

Ohh this is a very nice photo, a tad bit grainy but still great. And for some reason I really like the dark clouds in the background, it brings out the colors of the plane and the smoke so much better than white or blue would have. Nice work!

Also I would say they're 2nd best, Patrouille Suisse is a tad bit better in my opinion. But opinions are pretty common, everyone has one. :p

Thanks, I take your point about it being a bit grainy, it was a very dark day so I upped the ISO, a bit too much though. Patrouille Suisse? But the Arrows taught them everything they know :-)

The Swiss group. (But you knew that I'm guessing. :p) And I didn't realise the Red Arrows taught them, I just know they had much more of a wow effect on me than the Red Arrows. I'm also hoping to see the Blue Angels at some point, but unless they're as absurdly awesome as their reputation says I might end up dissapointed. ^^;
